... When does the upbringing of children begin?
At birth? Late!...
When they were conceived? Late!..
Is it possible to start at all or do we have only two options:
- to accept the predestination of blind destiny, saying that we can do nothing anyway, somehow they will grow up, because somehow everyone will grow up and it is a matter of luck what will become of someone;
- or pretend that we think responsibly and say we don’t take children, because that’s such a risky thing, especially in today’s threatened world, because they can’t be protected from the biologically and morally damaging environmental effects anyway ...
And isn't there a third option?
